This summer, Burna Boy will take the stages and host his first headline concerts in some venues in Europe and America.
The shows, which together make up his Space Drift Tour will hold for a couple of months across major venues.
They were announced earlier on this week, as tickets went on sale.
This would be Burna Boy‘s first major live performance since the outbreak of COVID-19 caused many activities to cease in 2020.
It will also be an avenue for him to perform his Grammy-winning Award, “Twice As Tall” to the fans.
But the fans are talking.
The one which has especially made for controversy is the O2 Arena show he’s set to headline in August.
Since Tuesday, when the announcements hit the streets and tickets went on sale, people in the industry have been talking, with many fans saying the tickets are pricier than they should be.
While some fans are saying they’d rather pay to watch Wizkid perform “Made in Lagos”, some are simply saying Burna Boy isn’t worth the price tag on those shows.
The tickets which range from £58 — £131 have already gone on sale, with some already sold out.
These prices, when converted to Naira, can go as high as N75,000, just to be in the venue and watch Burna perform while standing.
The question though is, are these prices reasonable? Or is that way too much money to watch the African Giant perform?
Let’s hear from you.
