English fillies are known to perform well in the race; they have so far had more than 49 wins. The 2020 winner was Even So, a horse that is owned by Mrs. John Magnier, trained by GM Lyons and Jockey is CT Keane.
Curragh racecourse is popular with major events in Ireland with other events being the Irish Derby, Longines Irish Champions among others. The racecourse is located at the heart of Kildare County just off the M7.
The racecourse is very busy between March and October with the earliest events being the Tattersalls Guineas Festival which is held in May. The racecourse also acts as the training ground where many stars of the track used as the training facility.
Leopardstown Summer Series events
Leopardstown is the only Dublin racecourse that hosts several big races on the Flat race calendar. With events scheduled throughout the year, other races that are held in the venue include Irish Champions Weekend, the Christmas festival, BHP insurance Irish Hurdle and the Unibet Gold cup.
The racecourse also holds several classic trials such as Bulmers Live between April and May. Group 1 Coolmore Matron Stakes and QIPCO Irish Champion Stakes are the other major flat events that are held at the venue.

Denny Cordell Lavarack Fillies Stakes
Denny Cordell Lavarack Fillies Stakes is scheduled for late September at Gowran Park. The race is a Group 3-flat horse race that features three-years and older fillies and mares.
It covers one mile, one furlong, and one thousand nine hundred and two meters. This event is named after Denny Cordell who was an English record breaker and later a racehorse trainer in Ireland. It is to his memory, created by his family and friend. One interesting thing about this race is that no single horse has ever won twice.
The leading Jockey for this race is Johnny Murtagh with Epona Plays being the 2020 winner. The hosting racecourse Gowran Park is known for its scenic view; it is also famed for its breeding and training establishment and regular host of high-profile races.

Florida Pearl Nov Chase Grade 2 in Punchestown
Florida Pearl Nov Chase Grade 2 will be held in Punchestown on November 14th, 2021. This racecourse is renowned as the home of the National Hunt in Ireland.
It hosts events such as the Irish National Hunt festival in April, the Grade one Morgiana Hurdle which like the Florida Pearl Nov Chase Grade 2 is held in November. Other races which are held in the same venue include the La Toucher and Ladies Cups.
