This viral meme has been making rounds on the media
I decided to bring it down here for you guys so we can have something to catch fun with today.
The character in this meme, Olaniyi Afonja which is popularly known as Sanyeri made a statement in one movie ‘Abuke Oshin’ as at that point he made that gesture.
He told his guards to allow one Chief of the town who is daring him to die in the Yoruba language ‘Efi le eje ko ku’ in English it means ‘Leave him, allow him die’.
Nigerians have been making fun of this in many ways and relating it to so many other things.
Like somebody more addicted to betting, instead of preaching to me, you will rather say ‘efile e je ko play Arsenal straight win’ Do you know what that means? It means dey no dey tell person, na heartbreak go tell you.
Another example is when somebody wants to do graphics and after charging the person, he decided to go for as cheap as 1k graphics. You can say ‘efile e jo ko lo se graphics 1k’.
